LANCE ARNESON TEAMS WITH DMR by BMS CHASSIS FOR BADGER MOD TOUR IN 2013

(Green Bay, WI) October 30 - "Dancin Lance" Arneson of Oconto Falls will wheel a DMR by BMS modified for the Custom Windows Plus Badger Mod Tour presented by Floors By Design & Directional Drilling Services competition in 2013.

Arneson, a 2011 Wisconsin state modified champion, became a future trivia question on June 20, 2012 when he won the inaugural BMT event at Wilmot Raceway. Arneson is also teaming up with Jim Kozak at KSI Racing Supply as Arneson will become a dealer for the BMS by DMR in the Northern Region and Wisconsin.

"Like any other driver, I'm looking for the next best thing," said Arneson. "Over the last year or so I've been to Las Vegas, Nebraska, and Iowa, as well as running the Badger Mod Tour in Wisconsin. The BMS cars are very successful. I like the direction they are going in. Right now it's one of the best cars for the money." Shawano Speedway 2012 IMCA modified rookie of the year Derek Kozak of Oconto Falls, son of Jim Kozak, will also wheel a BMS car weekly at Shawano in 2013. When he's not racing Kozak is a student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

BMS stands for Belleville Motor Sports which is located in Belleville, Kansas. DMR stands for David Murray Racing. Murray is one of the winningest modified drivers in the United States, and a multi-time IMCA national champion. Iowans Jay Noteboom and Jeremy Mills are also a pair of heavy hitters on the national racing scene who wheel DMR by BMS cars. In addition, BMS general manager and racer himself Brandon Blochlinger sped to a second place finish at the IMCA Supernationals in Boone, Iowa in September. Kozak and Arneson will accompany Blochlinger to Las Vegas in the "Duel in the Desert" later this year.

"As for my 2013 plans I will race for the Badger Mod Tour title and bounce around at all the area tracks while not running for any weekly track titles," said Arneson. "We've peaked some interest locally as we've got a handful of local guys getting prices on both modifieds and sportmods."

KSI Racing Supply is located at 110 East Highland Drive Oconto Falls, WI. The building also houses Pro Karting and Kozak's Carquest. A time, date and place for the BMT's awards banquet will be announced in the very near future. The 2013 season schedule is already being worked on.
